Opening minutes

Peterborough United started the match with a defensive stance, surviving a shaky first 30 minutes before taking control. The visitors almost opened the scoring in the second minute when Tom O’Connor’s headed back pass did not reach his goalkeeper, but Jon Russell slipped the ball past Alex Bass. George Nevett cleared the danger after a quick reaction.
